I was cutting Cala's hair (my new hobby) and had this conversation with her.
Erika: Cala, do you know what a period is.
Cala: Ya mom.
Erika: What is it - just so I make sure you understand.
Cala: (accurately describes it)
Erika: Where did you learn about that.
Cala: Duh, Mom. Judy Bloom.
I'm still laughing! Thank you Judy Bloom.
